Cosleeping! What’s your thoughts?

I thought I would do a blog post on our sleeping situation, having a baby and finding the right sleep situation that works best for your family can be tough! I have always been a huge believer in co-sleeping, with exclusively breast feeding all 3 of my kids… I had to have them close. Ain’t no way I was going to wake up 3+ times a night to go and feed them in their rooms! Hubby, hasn’t so much been completely on board with co-sleeping, he is a very heavy sleeper so he always worried co-sleeping. When i was pregnant with Krew, I came across the DockATot, and I was obsessed. I needed one of these! This was going to be the answers to my prayers!

We got ours in the mail, months before krew was born.. I was that excited to get my hands on one of these! Once Krew was born, first I was nervous as he was a huge in-arm sleeper. He is our third baby, so we had lots of love to share and everyone wanted to get their snuggles in! The first few nights were pretty sleepless around here anyways, So we didn’t use the dockatot probably until week two i would say when we needed to establish a good routine. Since then, this has been GAME CHANGING. game. changer.

Let me tell you, Krew went from waking up every 2-2.5 hours to literally sleeping 5-6 HOURS STRAIGHT. Can you even believe that? I was shocked. Our Dockatot, is our holy grail, our saving grace and I honestly could not parent without it. Not only is it incorporated in our sleeping routine, Krew naps with his dockatot, He plays in his dockatot while i shower…. We bring it on every road trip, hotel stay, family visits we go on! (Whats even better is not hauling around a huge play pen he doesn’t even sleep comfortably in!)

He is almost 7 months and he is a big boy! (21lbs + 98th percentile, for everything) So, we just upgraded to the dockatot grand. Once we got it in the mail, my girls were seriously like ready to steal this from their brother. Every time we watch a family movie, I let them lay in it and they are obsessed. Needless to say, I need a few more of these…. Heck, Ill even have one for myself please! When are they going to make an adult size?! Please from a sleep deprived mama of 3.

I cant let go of our deluxe DockATot, Maybe, in my subconscious mind I think another baby should sleep in that deluxe?! Hehe, Hopefully my husband doesnt read these blog posts! But, you guys. fo’ real, they are 100% worth the investment! Moms, get one for your sanity and sleep deprivation! Dads, get one for your wife because being a mama can be tough, raising tiny humans is exhausting so any little help we can get… take it!
